Accounts and Audit Manager

The role includes:
Managing a portfolio of clientsPreparing a wide range of high-quality accounts, audit and tax compliance assignments for clients with turnover ranging from £1million to £100millionReporting directly to a partnerSupervision of trainees and reviewing their work
Whilst the focus is on compliance, there are also many opportunities to expand the range and breadth of experience through direct engagement with clients, attending meetings, adhoc projects and working as part of a team to deliver a proactive service.
A candidate should have:
An ACA / ACCA qualification, or qualified by experienceAt least two years statutory audit experience ideally at manager level gained in an accounting practiceExperience of SME private company audits and statutory accounts preparation under FRS 102Experience of supervising and reviewing the work of traineesExcellent people/client relationship management
