About the role

Part time hours consideredSupervise and support a named pupil and other children when required.         Provide routine classroom support when required         Prepare and retain learning resourcesParticipate in team meetings, staff development activities and the wider school   community to support the achievement of individual children.    

Permanent - Term Time, 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Who we are looking for

Good numeracy and literacy skills.Good keyboard skills and knowledge of relevant IT packagesAbility and willingness to identify own training needs and participate in training.To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the schoolExperience of working with relevant age groups within a learning environment.An understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities.Able to use basic IT including computer, audio, video equipment and photocopier.Ability to provide necessary personal care to children.Knowledge of relevant policies and codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation.Ability to work well as part of a team.Aware of Health & Safety and Safeguarding as appropriate to rolePlay an important part in the wider safeguarding of children – identifying concerns, sharing information and taking prompt action to safeguard and protect them.
