Our service aims to support rehabilitation and in enabling people to optimise independence and quality of life.
We are looking for psychology graduates,support Workers and Healthcare Assistants or suitable candidates who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping service users access the community. We are looking for candidates that are confident with working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.

Job Title: Male Therapy Assistant/Support worker
Location: Portsmouth, PO2
Hourly Rate: £12-£14 per hour depending on experience.
Driver Essential? Yes
Gender Preference:This role is open to Male applicants only.
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours:
12 hours a week, 4 hours per day over 3 days. This can be flexible to an 8 hour shift and a 4 hour shift during weeks where there might be an activity that takes longer.
Tuesday: 4 hours
Wednesday: 4 hours
Friday: 4 hours
About you-Essential Experience:
Therapy Assistant/Support Worker required to support our 19 year old male client. A successful candidate will ideally be active, sporty and have a good knowledge of various sports activities; such as football & gym. Will also be required to help with maths sessions. Some prompting on personal care may be required.
About our client:
Our client is a 19 year old gentleman, who has suffered a traumatic brain injury. He enjoys football and is keen to play and develop his skills in this area. He also enjoys, and is good at, running.
He experiences some difficulties with emotion and behaviour regulation, education and accommodation.
Successful Candidates will:
- Have access to full Training - including Brain Injury Awareness Training
- CPD opportunities
- Will be subject to Full Enhanced DBS

- Gain Experience working with an MDT
