About the role, Health and Social Care Teacher:
Activate Learning is seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care professional eager to share their expertise and contribute to the education of others.
If you possess experience in health and social care, this opportunity could mark the beginning of a fulfilling teaching career.
As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will collaborate with our teaching team to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons to a diverse student body. Our modern Care Skills Training Centers at each campus offer students a unique platform to refine their skills for clinical industry placements and future employment opportunities.
This permanent position is based at Banbury and Bicester College, working 18.5 hours per week
What do you need to be a successful Health and Social Care Teacher at Activate Learning?
We are seeking individuals who can serve as exemplary role models for our students, ensuring they depart not only with professional Health and Social Care qualifications but also with the essential attributes for success in the professional world. An authentic dedication to guiding and nurturing young individuals is a fundamental requirement.
While prior teaching experience or qualifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory. If you possess the requisite qualifications to teach in our Health and Social Care courses and exhibit the qualities of an inspiring educator, we are committed to providing the necessary training, development, and support to prepare you for teaching in the FE sector.
- Level 3 or above qualification and experience in Health and Social Care sector is essential
- It is desirable if you have a teaching qualification and worked within education as a teacher, but this is not essential
- Strong organisational abilities, coupled with effective prioritisation skills, are essential
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skill
- Ability to deliver engaging and purposeful lessons to a diverse student body.
