We are currently looking for a talented Data Analyst to join a large data and analytics function within a leading Environmental company. The Data Analyst will be surrounded by like minded people who are all trying to achieve similar goals. What you'll do

  • The Data Analyst will support the Analytics Lead and Salesforce Product Team with stakeholder engagement activities and governance practices with the ability to multitask across projects throughout sprints.
  • Develop tactical in-app Salesforce reports as well as strategic management dashboards in Power BI considering future cross-divisional and global reporting requirements.
  • Understand the importance of modelling standards and how this impacts report development as well as performance for our end users.
  • Identify KPIs within the business and ensure that they are measurable with achievable targets and can be reported on effectively.
  • Develop an understanding of the various end users of these reports and ensure that they are suitable and present them with easy navigation and ease of use.
  • Use advanced analytics practices to delve deeper into trends and patterns in the data and proactively find insights to present back to our stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage time and efficiently communicate any blockers with delivery to relevant managers and support with the effective utilisation of JIRA to ensure priorities remain in sync with those of the Business.
  • Be able to communicate technical solutions to non-technical people and understand our data architecture to understand how this can be explained for our solutions that are delivered.



What you'll need to know

  • Degree level education in a relevant field (strong mathematical experience preferred)
  • Strong coding ability (SQL preferred) and ability to understand data modelling within SSAS or Power BI Models
  • Experience utilising data viz tools (Salesforce / Power Bi preferred)
  • High problem solving ability with innovative mindset
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive and forward thinking
