We have an exciting opportunity for a Meter Operator (MOP) Specialist to join our Advanced Half Hourly Meter Operations team on a 12-month secondment basis. For this role, you will manage the end-to-end processes of advanced meter operations. This includes new installations, fault resolution, half hourly meter exchanges and maintenance activity on accounts. The role is responsible for ensuring that tight timescales and sometimes conflicting priorities for jobs are managed and booked within SLA's. This role will offer the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Leeds) 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Dataflow management in line with timescales.
  • Managing complex metering queries.
  • Appointment booking.
  • Liaising with customers, in addition to internal and external agents.
  • Portfolio progress reporting.
  • Managing site visit results and actioning relevant industry dataflows.
  • Junifer ticket processing.
What we need from you
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and staff at all levels.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • The ability to work independently, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload.
