Are you looking for a fantastic new opportunity? Westbourne Academy are looking for a HLTA - Dyslexia who strives to share their passion for education with our students and join our dedicated team to uphold the Academy’s vision and values.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated and has a passion for supporting teaching and learning to will work as the Dyslexia support HLTA within Westbourne Academy, working with multi-agency services to raise standards of literacy throughout the school. You will relish the opportunity to work with young people in a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children and young people with literacy needs, be flexible, professional and be able to use their own initiative. Previous experience in a relatable role within an educational establishment is desirable but not essential. This role requires, a grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths and hold or be prepared to obtain literacy/dyslexia specific qualifications e.g. Levels 2+ dyslexia support award or equivalent.
