This position is suitable for Early Career Teachers.

Position: EYFS Teacher

Start Date: September 2024, you will be expected to finish the full academic year

Location: Bury

Contract: Full-time

Salary: 140 - 200 per day, subject to experience

This two-form entry school has been rated 'Good' Ofsted in 2019 and prides itself on building a friendly, inclusive, and positive learning environment to ensure children become confident learners, exceeding their potential.

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of phonics phases to support early reading and writing, including utilising Schemes of work such as Supersonic Phonic Friends
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
  • You will work as part of a dedicated team of teachers and support staff, sharing ideas and resources to provide a creative and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching EYFS or Lower Key Stage 1 and be able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering excellent results.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience supporting students with SEND
  • Confident in planning and delivering creative and scaffolded lessons
  • Passion for creating a positive and impactful learning experience
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
