  • Upholding the highest quality standards for all furniture produced.
  • Working and co-operating with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the upholstery department and customer commitments are achieved.
  • Ability to understand a design brief in order to establish the most effective upholstery methods for producing each piece of furniture.
  • Proven soft seating upholstery skills and experience.
  • Templating production expertise using diverse fabrics and materials.
  • Preparing the fabric for cutting out by spreading it out in flat layers, smoothing out creases and checking the fabric for faults.
  • Mastering the art of template production with a variety of fabrics and materials.
  • Creating stunning upholstered products with precision and flair.
  • Cutting round the pattern using a computer controlled cutting machine, scissors, or a special electric knife.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with other departments for a smooth workflow.
  • Upholding the highest quality standards for all furniture produced.
  • Bringing design briefs to life, ensuring each piece is a masterpiece.
