Staff 365 are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a rapidly growing, prestigous organisation based in Sheffield, with world leading technologies and advanced machine tool capabilities for the UK defence sector.

With experience and a strong back groud in heavy engineering, specialising in machine tools, working on CNC and manual machinery, you will form part of a close knit team working the following 3 weekly shift pattern:

Mornings: 6am-2pm

Afters: 2pm-10pm

Nights: 10pm-6am

40 hours per week

Key responsabilites:

- Ensure PPM are carried out on certain equipment

- Reactive repairs and undertake root cause analysis investigations

- Keeping downtime of production to a minimum

- Working at height

- Recording shift events on the server and handing over information to the following shift

- Manage and lead any Safe System of Work requirements within the shift, adhering to Health and Safety at all times

Qualifications/ Skills

- NVQ Level 3 certification or equivalent in a relevant field

- Experience working on heavy industrial equipment (e.g. overhead cranes, AC, DC)

- Good knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Installation

- Competent in maintaining CNC Machine Tools, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical devices

- Willing and able to work shifts
