An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and reputable regional contractor as a Bid Writer on a permanent basis due to the success of pipeline of works. The purpose of the position is to take responsibility for co-ordinating subject matter expert responses in order to write and complete tender proposals within construction, specific responses for pre-qualification and tender submissions for projects in new build/refurbishments within Education, Commercial, Retail, Leisure and Healthcare up to a couple million.

This really is a rare opportunity to recruit for this contractor so if you are looking for a company who have a healthy pipeline of interesting projects, focus on local works with local suppliers and employees being at the core of their success, please do get in touch.  This position could incorporate marketing, social media and business development.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing and understanding client prequalification and tender documentationInterpreting quality questions and constructing response templates supporting subject matter expertsDrafting and writing PQQ and / or bid submission responses using persuasive and positive languageReview and evaluate all tender enquiries for completeness and accuracyReview and evaluate all project costs and provide a complete price submissionResponsible for the final preparation and delivery of bidsComplete all Approved Supplier Questionnaires (ASQs) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs)Final preparation and delivery of bids to strict deadlines
Requirements:

Previous experience of Bid Writing in ConstructionHigh levels of attention to detailAdvanced level MS Office skills (particularly MS Word)Articulate and have an excellent grasp of written EnglishUK driving licence
