This role partners with the leadership team across sales, commercial and delivery, and is integral to handling the end-to-end financial aspects of the Wholesale Fixed business, this includes; Budgeting, Forecasting, Planning and Month end, as well as Governance, Relationship management and Business Insights analysis.

This is a key role for the B2B Wholesale division which collaborates with Sales, Commercial, Strategy and Delivery.

Other responsibilities include leading the month end process and financials to ensure accurate reporting and control across both P&L and Balance Sheet.

You will also own the long term plan, budget and re-forecasts across Wholesale, ensuring that financial targets are challenging but achievable

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • Able to lead month end, budget, forecasting and long range plan cycles, holding the business to account on driving financial plans
  • Work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Able to partner with business stakeholders to deliver ad-hoc requests for financial analysis and commercial insights, providing recommendations for decision making that drives growth.

  • Ability to analyse and drive a deeper level of understanding of financial performance and then communicate outputs in a clear, concise and engaging way to a broad audience
  • Ability to understand and take on problems with a strategic approach
  • Ability to optimise P&L performance by proactively identifying and managing risk and opportunities within the plan to ensure early corrective action is taken.
  • Provide input and challenge into commercial deal propositions to deliver incoming revenue targets whilst improving deal profitability
  • Provide ad-hoc commercial support where required to support new deals and negotiations
