The Company:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of animal health pharmaceuticals.
Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Pirbright.
Mechanical Technician Role:
Your main duties will be:
- Maintenance, fault finding and repair on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems across facilities, utilities, production and R&D laboratories.
- Installation, testing and commissioning of equipment.
- To ensure adherence to all EHS, biosafety and GMP regulations.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Completed an apprenticeship in maintenance engineering (equivalent experience or education can be considered).
- Prior experience in a maintenance role within GMP regulated manufacturing (pharma, food, life sciences. Hospital or NHS experience would also be considered).
- Excellent mechanical fault finding, maintenance and installation experience.
- Experience working on chiller plants, centrifugal pumps and chilled water systems would be highly beneficial in this role.
