HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted In TILBURY

Logistics People are looking for HGV Drivers/HGV Class 1 Drivers/LGV Drivers/LGV Class 1 Drivers/Class 1 Drivers working on a Full time Equivalent (FTE) basis at our Culina Tilbury depot.

Must be able to do occasional nights out

Location: Tilbury

Working Hours: 5 On 3 Off 4 On 4 Off Days and Night Shifts Available

Pay Rate:

  • 5 On 3 Off Days and Nights £186.55 P/shift Equivalent to £42,534 P/a
  • 4 On 4 Off Days and Nights £186.96 P/shift Equivalent to £34,121 P/a

Extra Rate:

  • Start times available between 12 59 Shift premium of £10 per shift
  • Start times available between 20 59 - Shift premium of £15 per shift

Overtime:

  • Monday to Friday: £17.78 P/hr
  • Saturday: £21.14 P/hr
  • Sunday: £24.33 P/hr

The role consists of completing deliveries and collections.

Driving Assessment Required

About You

  • You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence and have a minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
  • No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
  • Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
  • Understand and able to comply with Driver s hours and WTD legislation
  • Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
  • Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
