HFG are currently recruiting for a reputable Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking a Senior Wordings Specialist to join their growing team.
My client is looking for someone with strong wordings experience, ideally within Property and Casualty on a Reinsurance basis. The role will entail looking at mainly English wordings and some German so the successful candidate should know some German, however not a requirement. They are also looking for someone who is a qualified Solicitor or Barrister too.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a technical expert for wording issues within treaty and facultative reinsurance business within our international P&C division.Evaluate proposed wordings for compliance with internal guidelines, clarity, accuracy, and completeness, making necessary amendments and providing explanations to underwriters, client managers, and claims handlers.Create new clauses and wordings when necessary.Assist in identifying new risks and adjusting wordings requirements accordingly.Share expertise with internal and external clients through workshops, training sessions, and briefing notes.Participate in developing market standard wordings through trade association involvement.Contribute to peer review process.Act as acting Head of Wordings in International P&C when necessary.
