I am looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a business based in the Oxford area, this will start as 3 month contract with the aim to be extended.

You will be a key player in the design and development of modular spacecraft. Key design responsibilities will include;

  1. Modular design
  2. Interface design
  3. Deployment mechanisms
  4. CAD modelling
  5. Design for manufacture and assembly
  6. Technical drawing
  7. Prototype and testing

    The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical design background from either the space, aerospace or energy industry. Proficiency in CAD software and experience in design for manufacture. Material selection and analysis knowledge is desirable.
