ROLE SUMMARY

The Enterprise Platforms & Security (EP&S) team delivers the following capabilities for Pfizer. Business application platforms supporting Pfizer's enterprise application and critical business processes. Infrastructure allowing business traffic to travel where it needs to go, internally and externally, along with the appropriate access controls. EP&S secures Pfizer's most important information assets through world class controls and protections and enables Pfizer's business results by making security an enabler and not a roadblock to achieving business results.

The Sr. Associate, Cybersecurity Analytics will perform day to day support functions in coordination with the Secure Network Services team related to enterprise prevention, detection, and response capabilities. Specific responsibilities include creating and maintaining data algorithms, preforming routine system maintenance functions, responding to incident tickets, identifying opportunities to better address recurring issues, and updating related support documentation. The position will focus on one or more of the of the following technology domains: host-based controls, network-based controls, analytics, and orchestration.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and support analytics and predictive modeling projects using rigorous statistical methods and machine learning techniques.Application of new algorithms to real-world cybersecurity threatsDesign new visualizations to make descriptive analyses more intuitive and informative for additional modeling.Process incident tickets in accordance with defined support proceduresExecute defined periodic review functions to ensure services operate as designed.Identify inaccurate support documentation and assist with associated updates.Suggesting improvements in the tools and techniques to help drive efficiency.Develop and execute against project plans as necessary to implement analytics driving increased cybersecurity posture.Demonstrated experience in an agile work environment possessing qualities such as a collaborative mindset, adaptability to change, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
