What youâll do:

  • Manage R&Dâs Engineering Workshop - maintenance and operation of its machinery and equipment as well as 3D printing setup
  • Execute R&D prototype runs â Build & test prototypes for a range of R&D projects giving manufacturing, engineering and design feedback to aid concept development and transfer to manufacturing
  • Lead projects to develop the Workshopâs capabilities in line with new project needs with minimal supervision including design of tooling and management of purchases via external vendors

Who you are:

  • 4+ years manufacturing experience working with machinery or similar equipment
  • Alternatively BEng in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering + minimum 1 year Industrial experience
  • Capable of operating 3D CAD software such as Solid Works is desired

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Life science based manufacturing including mass production with small plastic componentry & experience with filtration and sealing technologies
  • Proficiency with 3D printing technologies
  • Practical hands-on skills having been intimately involved in new product development and associated roll out to manufacturing
