If so, we at GSL Education Watford would love to hear from you. We are currently seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our team in Bushey. The successful candidate must be passionate and devoted to providing an excellent learning and teaching experience for young pupils.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a PGCE, B.Ed. with QTS, or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching Humanities.
• Hold a valid child-only Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one through GSL.

Responsibilities:

• Present lessons in a clear and engaging manner, utilising visual and audio aids to facilitate learning.
• Provide personalised instruction to each student, promoting interactive learning.
• Create and distribute educational materials, such as notes, summaries, and assignments.
• Assess and record students' progress, providing grades and feedback.
• Maintain a tidy and organised classroom.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders, attending regular meetings.
• Plan and execute educational activities and events, both in-class and outdoors.
• Observe and understand students' behaviour and psyche, reporting any suspicions of neglect or abuse.
• Continuously develop and enhance professional skills and knowledge through attending seminars and conferences.
