As our school grows each year we continue to build a team of committed teaching professionals. As such, we are looking for new member of our Senior Leadership Team to join an exciting expanding school that works with a fabulous community of learners, parents and stakeholders.

ATAM Academy is part of the Khalsa Academies Trust and is our first “all-through” school. KAT is a Multi Academy Trust with 1 other secondary school based in Wolverhampton.

We are seeking an experienced, inspirational and motivated Vice Principal, who will lead our safeguarding provision with the drive, commitment and creativity to support us in providing the best possible opportunities for our pupils.

The ability to teach within the primary or secondary phase is welcomed, although QTS is not required.  

Atam Academy is an all-through Free School which opened in September 2016.  Over the next two years we will open and grow our  post 16 provision until September 2025 when we will be fully open with approximately 1250 pupils from nursery to Year 13.  This is an exciting time to join a professional and determined staff team who have made rapid improvements over the current academic year.  

The successful candidate will play a major role under the overall direction of the Principal who will be empowered to improve policy, process within the area of safeguarding. We are looking for someone who has a proven ability in strategic thinking, ensuring the academy continues to provide high quality education for all our children in a caring, inclusive environment.

This post will enhance the Senior Leadership Team of the academy and will take a lead role in all aspects of school improvement related to safeguarding.
