Warehouse Supervisor

Mansfield, NG18 5BZ

Permanent

40 hours per week, working on a 3 shift rotating pattern. Either 6am until 2pm, 2pm until 10pm on a Monday to Friday basis or 10pm until 6am on a Sunday to Thursday basis. Flexibility required to work outside of these times and to cover other shifts to suit business needs.

We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join us on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will be responsible for:

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing skills required to deliver to our customers on time and in full.
  • Providing a high-quality service to suit customers’ needs.
  • Working closely with the transport and office teams to ensure a smooth running of operations and meeting overall site objectives.
  • Supervising a team of operatives across all shifts.
  • Foster a continuous learning environment to enhance the team’s capabilities and efficiency.
  • Address and resolve any conflicts or issues within the team promptly and professionally, promoting a collaborative and positive working environment.
  • Holding health and safety at the forefront of all warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

 

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team.
  • Experience working in a warehouse for an FMCG.
  • FLT Licence or experience is desirable.
  • IT Literate with experience using MS Office and SAP.
  • Manual Handling
  • Customer Service
