Technical Manager – Renewable Energy

Our client, a renewable energy developer/manager, is seeking a Technical Manager to join its growing team based in London
Responsibilities
EPC and O&M Management
-
- Evaluating and processing amendments and/or variation agreements between the Owner and O&M Contractors
- Support and supervise the O&M provider in relation to the management and resolution of any potential defects in the Plant;
- Supervising and auditing of the O&M Contractors management of all health and safety matters in relation with the Plant and ensuring contractors/suppliers comply with health and safety rules or policies;
- Supervising the O&M Contractor and its activities under the O&M Contract
Inspections and site conditions monitoring

- Annual condition and maintenance inspections of the Project, including onshore and offshore equipment.
- Handling of relationship with Technical Advisor and other specialists.
Monitoring and performance management

- Review of site downtime
- Download and analysis of performance data from monitoring system.
- Coordinating and managing root cause analysis and proposal of sites improvements.
Emergency Response
- Liaising with the O&M Contractor and other third party contractors as required, in the event of any emergency events, or unplanned outages to assist in the resolution of these as required on behalf of the OFTO owner.
Health and Safety
- Managing the health and safety of the Plant in coordination and collaboration with the O&M contractor (including plant access regulation and maintenance of incident records).
- Verify and control that the O&M contractor is in compliance with all the applicable H&S rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Experience gained in a technical/PM role at an Energy developer
- Strong EPC and O&M management experience
- The ability to multi-task and communicate across internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with Renewable Energy assets such as Wind, Solar, Energy Transition
