Full Time (no banding) Specialist Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedics Special interest: Foot and Ankle Surgery Anticipated Start Date: August 2024 for a period of 12 months Based atYsbyty Ystrad Fawr, Ystrad Mynach, Wales This is a new post to give post-CCT level experience in adult F& A surgery with an elective commitment at the Foot and Ankle Unit at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr. There is no on-call commitment and does not attract a Banding supplement.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work as part of the Orthopaedic team Aneurin Bevan University Health Board to assist with the provision of a comprehensive trauma and orthopaedic service to a catchment population of over 550,000.
The Directorate of Trauma and Orthopaedics sits within the Division of Surgery of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and is committed to developing a modern, evidence based, multi-disciplinary focused service for the residents of Gwent. The post provides an excellent opportunity to join an established team committed to improving services within Trauma and Orthopaedics.
