Salary: GBP83.40 GBP95.26 p/day

Do you love working with children and making a difference? We are looking for caring and nurturing individuals to work with young children as they start school. Your role will be helping them transition into their introduction to the school environment

We are working with a number of primary schools in the Crawley area who have a need from September for Teaching Assistants in Reception and Year 1. This position will be working 1-1 and in small groups helping children transition into the classroom. Any experience working with young children or SEN will be extremely useful.

The Role:

  • Full-time position with the potential for permanency
  • Transitioning Nursery & Reception children into the academic year
  • Provide 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists and parents to develop and implement personalised learning plans

Requirements:

  • Some TA experience would be useful but not essential as full training provided
  • Understanding of special educational needs and the ability to support students accordingly
  • Ability to be flexible and creative
  • Passionate about making a difference
  • Dedicated inspiring & engaging
  • Create a safe calm and positive environment for the pupil
  • Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.
