Clinical Research Pharmacist Lead

£50,000 - £55,000

We are currently seeking to recruit a Clinical Research Pharmacist Lead on a full time permanent basis.


Roles & Responsibilities;

·       Provide expertise and support in evaluating feasibility, set-up and conduct. A key aspect of this is collaborating with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams.

·       Review and understand study protocols in regard to drug product handling.

·       Receipt, storage, preparation, dispensation, disposition, and retention of all investigational drug products in compliance with GMP standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory authorities.

·       Actively involved on all GMP Audits or Regulatory inspections and working to ensure successful completion.

·       Attend and participate in internal and external client meetings regarding investigational product handling and protocol specific requirements.

·       Staff management responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, training new employees (Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians); planning, assigning and directing work; appraising and coaching performance. 

 

What we are looking for;

  • Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland
  • Bachelorâs degree in Pharmacy required
  • Proven pharmaceutical experience of minimum 1-2 years
  • Proven record keeping skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Knowledge of GMP and GCP regulations preferred
  • Job specific training is required and will be provided
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and occasional weekends
