Head of History

We have a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding and inspirational History teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team at Henlow. We are seeking an outstanding teacher or current middle leader with a proven track record of success and raising pupil outcomes to lead the History curriculum and foster a lifelong love of History in our students.  

The successful candidates will:

• Be passionate and enthusiastic practitioners
• Have a proven track record of impact on student progress
• Have recent experience of teaching GCSE 
• Be keen to promote and further expand their subject and enhance uptake at Key Stage 4  
• Committed to continued professional development and exploring new teaching methodologies
• Dedicated to the pastoral care of all young people
