Job Title:         Teacher of Food & Nutrition

Pay Scale:        MPR/UPR 

Location:         Bennett House, Sunningfields Road, Hendon, NW4 4QR / Stamford Raffles Campus, Downage, Hendon, NW4 1AB (as required) 

Contract:        Permanent/Full Time or Part Time 

We require a Food & Nutrition Teacher to join our established Food & Nutrition department. This role would suit an ECT or someone seeking to train in teaching Food & Nutrition. You will be working alongside an experienced Head of Food & Nutrition to deliver lessons across KS3 and 4. Food & Nutrition is a popular subject at SMSJ and the ideal candidate will be creative, enthusiastic and committed to helping every student achieve their potential.  

Part- or Full-Time working can be accommodated. 

We are looking for somebody who:  

·        Has a passion for their subject 

·        Is able to demonstrate a talent for motivating and enthusing young learners to achieve their best

·        Has rigorous planning and preparation skills 

·        Has the ability to problem-solve and manage classroom behaviour effectively 

·        Can be resilient under pressure 

·        Is self-reflective and committed to developing as a teacher 

·        Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
