As part of our D&A team, we are seeking a Solution Designer to work with our Business Users and Digital Technology Team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Understand Business Users' processes and needs, identify areas of improvement from a Business perspective, and draft detailed business requirements.Effectively translate and communicate requirements in business language to a technical Digital Team of developers and architects.Identify and map requirements to applications and technologies, either already available in-house or from the market, providing an end-to-end Solution Design with the right fitment.Design Solutions ensuring the best Data Standards, to maintain Data as an important pillar. Ensure Solution Design takes care of Business requirements, Business process, Solution-Data-Infrastructure Architectural Guidelines. Solutions must ensure multiple applications or software working in tandem to provide value to Business.Value Engineering – Effectively communicate Solutions to the Business team and Digital team, with productive Business Use-Cases.Close Collaboration with members of the Business team, Citizen Developers as well as Solution Architects, Data Architects, Enterprise Architects, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Application Developers, PMO, and Vendor Team Members.Understand areas of improvement or gaps and provide solution improvements.Any other assigned responsiblities.

Requirements:

Excellent Communication Skills and Presentation Skills.At least 5 years of Knowledge and experience, focusing on Solution Design in the Data domain.Experience and Knowledge in Manufacturing or Production or Oil & Gas or similar industries, for easier understanding of the business process and effective mapping of requirements and efficient Solution design.Experience as Value Engineer or Presales for IT Application / Data Solutions.Experienced in running sessions with Business Users and drafting requirements.Compassionate, Empathetic person.Bachelor’s Degree or Higher.Experience in a Multi-National, multi-cultural, diverse environment.Experience and Knowledge in the Chemical Production industry or in Lubricant Additives Manufacturing companies.Experience and Knowledge in end-to-end Solution Design using Applications such as SAP, Azure Data Stack.Experience and Knowledge in Languages such as SQL, Python, KQL.10+ years of experience in Solutioning with Applications and Data.
