Your Role:

As a Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and underwriting complex professional indemnity risks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating risks and determining appropriate underwriting terms and pricing.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to junior underwriters.
  • Keeping abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
  • Collaborating with various internal stakeholders to drive business growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in professional indemnity underwriting, preferably within the commercial insurance sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII) would be advantageous.
