Madison Berkeley is excited to be working with relatively new BtR developer and operator. They are currently rolling out a portfolio of BtR assets across the UK, focused on young professionals. They currently have a portfolio of around 500 units (all operational within 2024) and are expanding its portfolio to over 5,000 units over the next 3-5 years. With a number of sites going live this year they are looking for their first asset/senior asset manager to join the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business in a sector that has real growth. They are looking for an experienced asset manager within extensive knowledge within the living sector particularly the BtR market.Some of the responsibilities include: Looking for someone to take over and get involved with the assets throughout their lifespan, primarily before and during operations.Ownership of operational strategy and oversight, management of outsourced property managers, management of the entire customer journey, monitoring performance, maximizing opportunities to monetise/drive bottom line, interacting with /formal reporting to GS as day-to-day point of contact.Engagement with the asset starts when the property is acquired/delivered and involves planning ahead to action what is needed to ensure operational success.The AM will take on and manage the outsourced property manager to deliver the operational piece (leasing, PM, FM, hiring, etc.)Attitude is as important as skill set, likely to come from a strongly operational RE background in multifamily, PRS, hotel, student living, senior living or co-living.Must embrace start up situation but helpful to have had institutional AM experience to deliver institutional standard mindset and reporting.Please do apply directly or get in touch at Jack.Hechle@madisonberkeley.com
