Our client is happy to consider non-qualified Assessors, who possess a solid history within Residential Childcare at Team Leader level or above - and ideally some exposure to learning and development.

Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Teaching / Assessing qualification.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold strong, occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
  • Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

  • Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
  • Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner s needs.
