My client is a leading specialty insurer and are looking to hire a Data Strategy Manager who will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy. You will be responsible for developing data governance policies and procedures, and providing a hands-on approach to leading data projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities/Skills:

Lead the development of data architectures, data models, and data management processes that support the company’s data strategyManage the data lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and retrievalContinuous development of Reporting & BI capabilities that support business colleagues to optimise their understanding of their business performance in real-time, and therefore to deliver excellent customer and broker outcomes as a resultCollaborate with Data Engineers to leverage Azure & Power BI to drive value from dashboards, reports and analyticsExpertise in data strategy, data governance, or related rolesStrong knowledge of data management, data governance, and data architecture principlesExperience with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., DAMA, Collibra)Experience working with other data technologies, including data warehousing, data integration, and data visualisation tools such as Power BIExpertise as in leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the organizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data requirements into actionable insights
