The role:
As a Technical Information and Change Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be ensuring that retained information is up to date in support of engineering and procurement activities supporting the British Army.

Day-to-day, you will be reporting to the Technical Quality Manager, the Technical and Information Change Engineer will be responsible for managing the receipt, control and issue of Technical and Approved Source Information (ASI), assessing the impact of changed technical requirement and communication.

Key accountabilites:

  • Engaging with Platform Engineers to establish impact and review the changed requirement in line with the QMS recognised process.
  • Become SME in development of the Vault document repository and document content.
  • Maintain a register of ASI changes and progress through the review process.
  • Establish effective WPI and BAB-ENG change impact methodology.
  • Establish and implement effective change communication models for all interested parties and stakeholders.


This role is full time working 37 hours per week and is originally 5 days per week on site reducing to 3 days on site 2 days working from home once settled into the role.

Essential experience of the Technical Information and Change Engineer

  • Experience of senior stakeholder engagement.
  • High level of competency in MS Office, MOD portals, SharePoint.


Qualifications for the Technical Information and Change Engineer

  • Educated to Level 2 in National Qualification Framework (NQF) as a minimum (Intermediate apprenticeship) or equivalent workplace experience.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
