Location Coleford, Gloucester
Hours Shifts 7am-7pm 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off
Salary Starting at £28,000 per annum
Talento are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a company who are experts in manufacturing economically sustainable rigid plastic packaging. They use their expertise to help their customers, and the industry as a whole, recover used plastic packaging, transform it into new feedstock, and manufacture new bottles from old all in a sustainable, closed-loop system.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Process Technician to join the team in Coleford.
The Role
- Operation, maintenance and improvement of the sites plastic packaging production machines
- Directs and monitors the execution of the production schedule
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on related equipment as required
- Performs production change overs and start up procedures
- Inspect the finished product visual and/or by camera
- Execute quality checks
- Comply with company safety policy & procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping
About you
Background and Experience
- Experience of working in a fast paced factory production / manufacturing environment
- Blow Moudling/Injection Moulding experience would be desirable, but not essential
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- MS office experience
Technical Skills
- Tool changes and planned maintenance would be advantageous
Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Energetic and enthusiastic approach to their current role, whilst being an effective communicator at all levels.
- Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritization
- Good communication, flexibility and reliability are essential for this position
