Assistant Site Manager â Exeter
An exciting position as an Assistant Site Manager is now available with an award-winning main contractor on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to be involved in a diverse range of projects, from regeneration and historic buildings to restoration works and new build high rise accommodation. An excellent opportunity for career advancement awaits
Responsibilities:
⢠Work closely with the project team to support with project requirements including administration
⢠Assist the site team in the management of all direct labour
⢠Support with procurement and ordering of materials
⢠Ensuring work is carried out in compliance with company safety policies as well as HSE Regulations
⢠Arrange/attend meetings on site with the sub-contractors
⢠Manage external packages and trades
⢠Maintain the highest standard of site presentation at all times
⢠Deliver quality inductions to all sub-contractors
⢠Ensure that all materials are checked for damage and that they meet the required quality standards
Requirements:
⢠SSSTS or SMSTS
⢠CSCS card
⢠First Aid at Work desirable
⢠Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
⢠UK driving licence
⢠Construction related qualification desirable
⢠Relevant UK driving licence
