Creative Graduates - Unqualified Teaching Assistant

At EdEx we are working with a fantastic Primary School based in Islington who are looking for Creative Graduates - Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join their team with an immediate start.

The school is keen for Creative Graduates - Unqualified Teaching Assistants to come in and use their lateral thinking to encourage students within their learning process using creative outlets such as music, art, drama etc. This is a full time position starting this September 2024 for the full academic year.

As a Creative Graduates - Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to the classroom teacher, preparing materials for classes, maintaining a safe classroom, and promoting a fun environment for the pupils to learn within.

Job Description:

  • Creative Graduates - Unqualified Teaching Assistant
  • Fulfilling Teaching Assistant duties across all year groups (EYFS/KS1/KS2)
  • Holding 1:1 and group interventions for core subjects (English & Mathematics)
  • Providing additional support for SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia etc)
  • Full academic year - Full time - Term time only
  • September 2024 Start
  • 105 - 110 per day - Term time only
  • Based in Islington

Ideal Applicant:

  • Have a drive and passion for working in education
  • Have a creative and innovative thinking pattern that is adaptable to the pupil's needs
  • Previous experience working with children
  • SEN experience/knowledge is desirable but not necessary
  • Hold a creative degree (Music, Arts, Drama etc)
