Your Role: As an Assistant General Manager, you will be at the heart of our operation, driving team to achieve their department goals at Kingsmead Pools & Fitness. You will report to and deputise for the General Manager, this is an ideal role for those career goal is working towards a General Manager role.
What You'll Do:
Contribute to the delivery of Active Life vision and strategy Lead the operational delivery of services, polices and programmes to ensure the centre achieves it targets and objectives Lead the teams in delivering local marketing plans for members and related products Support the General Manager to maintain and manage an effective systems of controls in the centre. Support the ongoing management, compliance, monitoring, reporting and communication of financial, physical and all administrative functions Support the centre management team to deliver on their individual and centre objectives Ensure the centre continuously complies with all relevant legislations and best practice.Qualifications (Desirable but not Essential) :
First Aid at Work Qualification (Full training can be provided) Pool Plant Operator Qualification (Full training can be provided) Heath and Safety Management Qualification (CIMSPA endorsed) (Full training can be provided)What We’re Looking For:
Substantial Management experience in leisure or hospitality sector Proven track record of working towards targets and achieving KPIs. Experience in recruiting, developing and leading the performance of multi-discipline teams. Commercial experience in high footfall, high target environments Active affiliation with appropriate networks and organisations with ongoing community involvements, Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in IT (Microsoft Office).Behaviours We Value:
