A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD AND BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR AT IBIS STYLES PAIGNTON

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Deputy general manager, you can expect your working day to include the following. 

Your role will involve supervising a shift and all it entails. This may be breakfast, Lunch or dinner.

 .To oversee and manage the shift, including servers and host/hostesses and ensure high standards are maintained at all times.

. To assign duties, provide training and guidance, and ensure smooth coordination among team members.

. To ensure that all guests are dealt with in a professional manner in accordance with company standards.

.To ensure that all guest queries/complaints are dealt with in a professional manner.

.To meet and greet guests on arrival at the hotel.

.To maximise sales by upselling at every opportunity.

.To be involved in training and coaching team members..
