Teacher of Art and Design with Textile Design

Responsible to: Head of Department

Working Time: 195 days / 1265 hours per year (Full time)

The Role

This is a key post in a dynamic and ambitious department working with a Head of Department who leads a team with very high uptake at KS4 and KS5 and excellent student outcomes. We are looking for a candidate with the skills and desire to develop a love of Art and Design with all students whatever their prior attainment.

The successful applicant will be able to work with students of all abilities throughout all Key Stages. The role includes teaching GSCE and A'Level Art and Design (Fine Art) and Key Stage 3 Art and Design and Textile Design.

Our School

Tytherington is a successful and ambitious 11-18 comprehensive school. We were judged Good by Ofsted in 2022 with the report commenting ‘Pupils and students told inspectors that Tytherington School is a happy and safe place’ where ‘leaders design especially ambitious curriculums’.
