The Role
As a result of growth, we are now recruiting for a Corporate Tax Senior to join our Tax Consultancy Service Line based at either our Leeds or Newcastle office.
The main elements of this role will include:
Taking responsibility for the preparation and completion of tax computations on a varied portfolio of clientsHaving involvement with / being responsible for the other annual filing obligations (such as Employment Related Securities Filings / Non Resident Landlord Scheme / ATED etc) Supporting clients with their ongoing compliance needs (Instalment Regime etc)Assisting with the preparation of Research and Development Tax Credit claimsIdentifying planning and advisory opportunities from a compliance portfolioDealing with adhoc queries from the wider firm when required

The Candidate
In order to fulfil the responsibilities of the position, we would like candidates to be / have:
ATT qualified as a minimum but ideally, have completed already, or be in the process of completing the CTA qualificationCorporate tax compliance experienceExperience of using Alphatax (desirable requirement as opposed to essential requirement) Some advisory knowledge and experience in identifying advisory opportunitiesExperienced in dealing with clients and ensuring they receive an outstanding level of customer serviceConfident when communicating (in both verbal and written forms) because you will need to be able to deal directly with clients and ensure they receive an outstanding level of customer service
