Pre Sales Engineer / Technical Support Engineer in the HVAC sector required to provide application and pre-sales project technical support for the sales team and customers EG for AHU and Heat Pumps selection and quotation

This client are an international HVAC business with over 8 branches worldwide-
And because of the reach, there are opportunities to train with industry experts within your first fortnight in places such as Southern Europe- As well as the on going benefit of training at your fingertips through remote sessions available daily or in person sessions multiple times a week

Requirements:
  • Ideally we look to hire HVAC industry professionals with similar experience in a Pre Sales Engineer, Technical Sales or Technical Support role, however if you feel you have transferable skills from within the industry, please do reach out
  • Knowledge into Heat Pumps, and AHUS (Air handling units) is essential
  • Commutable to the Reading office at least 2-3 times a week

In this HVAC Pre Sales Engineer / Technical Support role you will:
  • Provide application and pre-sales project technical support for the HVAC sales team and large commercial and residential customers
  • Provide general support to the sales teams
  • Provide customer support on AHU, AC, Chillers, and Heat Pumps product selection and quotations
  • Liaise with the factories, technical, contracts and pre-sales teams when required
  • Provide ongoing customer support throughout the ordering and delivery procedures
  • Issuing of order acknowledgments
  • Sizing of residential heat pumps whether whole house or room by room
  • Keeping up to date with all new products and market trends
