Responsibilities
  • Interprets the Commercial Objectives, taking inputs from customer research, behaviour, trends and market context to develop compelling customer propositions.
  • Works closely with Marketing and Sales to align thinking, ensuring that propositions are targeted, positioned correctly and meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Work closely with the Product Team providing clear product requirements and ongoing input to the Product Manager throughout product discovery, development and lifecycle management.
  • Ensures excellent go-to-market for all new propositions and business wide readiness ahead of launches, whilst ensuring existing propositions remain relevant in the market.
  • Continually monitor proposition and go to market performance, identifying areas for enhancement
  • Help shape the vision and co-ordinate the go to market activities, tailored by segment and vertical.
  • Maintain a keen eye on volume and value performance to monitor success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure pricing strategy is aligned to market dynamics; balancing profitability with customer affordability
    What we're looking for
    • Experience in a commercial, finance, product or proposition's role, ideally with industry experience.
    • A curious mindset and the desire to always keep up with the latest industry trends.
    • A hunger to drive the very highest levels of performance.
    • Proven, demonstrable commercial and financial acumen.
    • You will be an excellent communicator and storyteller.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and good stakeholder management. Able to influence Trading, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance as well as Product and Tech transformation and development teams.
    • You will need to think like a customer. This includes understanding our market positioning and why a customer would choose us. You'll be equally aware of what is going on internally and anticipating anything which might be an opportunity or a risk.
    • A curious mindset and the desire to always keep up with the latest industry trends.
    • Ability to adapt and create plans in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities.
