We are looking for a new Student Experience Officer to join our Student Support team in the Department of Economics The Student Experience Officer will be responsible for a number of areas central to the delivery of an excellent experience for all our students.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual, who is able to manage a busy, varied workload and meet deadlines, whilst maintaining high standards of customer service. As Student Experience Officer, you will work as a core member of the Professional Services Team, providing a high level of support for the key processes that assist the smooth delivery of learning and teaching for the Department’s undergraduate and postgraduate student population, working with administrative and academic staff to enhance the student experience. The role has a particular focus on providing support for attendance monitoring processes, extenuating circumstances, academic appeals and case reviews.

The postholder will be based in the Student Support and Enquiry Office in the Department of Economics which is shared with nine other members of the Professional Services Team. All members of the Student Support Office assist in providing cover for the departmental enquiry desk.
