Woodcote High School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Head of Physical Education to join our team.

What does the role involve?

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled teacher to teach a full timetable across the age and ability range of the school, delivering agreed Schemes of Work and contributing fully to the PE Department.

The main aim of the PE teaching programme is to develop fundamental motor skills, knowledge, and behaviours for physical activity and physical fitness. The curriculum is designed to ensure all students are physically literate and to support students to become motivated, confident, physically competent, and to become lifelong lovers of sport. We hope all students will engage with, appreciate, and enjoy a wide range of different sports both within and outside of the taught curriculum.

About the Collegiate Trust

TCT has grown out of Riddlesdown Collegiate, a large, outstanding (OFSTED, March 2023) secondary school in Croydon with a longstanding reputation for high standards and an exceptional education. Since 2015, our Trust has been growing and, today, we are a family of 8 schools with c.6000 pupils and 800+ employees.
