The Role
Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, reporting functions and the finance team, as well as business partnering, maintaining strong internal controls, analysis, and statutory compliance.
Duties
Processing the end-to-end accounting functions of the business, including:
Payroll, Invoicing Payment runs Reconciliations Credit controlResponsible for monthly reporting activities and ensuring that information is presented in a meaningful, transparent, and timely mannerProduce management pack with commentary on any findings with regards to variances and monthly accounts.Producing monthly management accounts for all business entities along with a consolidated version.Producing monthly cash flow statement.To be involved, in operations team and Finance Department special projects, annual budget setting, reporting roll out, finance systems process improvements, modelling work, and any other general requirements.Responsible for the month and year-end processes for departmental budgets, including the posting of accurate accruals, prepayments, and deferred income; and reconciling and provide commentary on any variances to budget and forecast.Operational support inc; contracts and HR needs from time to time in the business.
