Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Building Surveyor to join the building surveying team in Manchester. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, conducting detailed surveys and inspections, and delivering high-quality reports and recommendations to clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to take on a leadership role and play a key part in the continued growth and success of the company in Manchester.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage building surveying projects in Manchester, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Conduct detailed building surveys, inspections, and condition assessments, identifying defects, deficiencies, and maintenance issues.

- Prepare comprehensive survey reports, including findings, recommendations, and remedial actions, in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on building-related matters, including dilapidations, party wall issues, building defects, and statutory compliance.


Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

- MRICS qualification or equivalent professional accreditation is essential.

- Proven experience in building surveying, with a minimum of 6 years' experience in a similar role.

- Strong technical knowledge of building construction, defects diagnosis, and relevant legislation and regulations.
