The company:
You will be joining a well-known large-scale manufacturing company in the UK. They have recently been taken over by an international organisation and are continually growing. The role:
Due to the continuous growth of the manufacturing department, the organisation is seeking an experienced manufacturing professional to oversee the production and supervise the team within the factory.

Key responsibilities:

Ensure all Health & Safety regulations and quality standards are adhered to. Maintain and lead a lean culture throughout the department. Improve machine efficiency and identify improvement areas. Be an integral cog in ensuring production development and improvement. Oversee and manage a production team, ensuring staff development.
This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:
Experience in a similar supervisory role within manufacturing and/or production Proven success in motivating and developing staff members. LEAN manufacturing experience (Desirable) Ability to work to Quality and Health & Safety standards. Knowledge of manufacturing improvement methodology is highly desirable.
