The HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic partner to management, providing guidance on a range of HR matters. The role will require the successful individual to shape and deliver HR strategy in line with business objectives within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry.
Client Details
I am partnering with a distribution organisation based in the Northwest, who are currently experiencing a period of growth due to mergers and acquisition. Their culture could be described as 'performance vs well-being vs engagement'
Description
Reporting into the HR Director, my client seeks a proven operator who can build solid relationships quickly, has experience of driving a 'performance vs wellbeing vs engagement culture, has experience of flexing from the transactional, to the operational, to the strategic. Experience in coaching and management development from grassroots to SLT is also essential.
As a HR Business Partner you will have responsibility for all people related activities within your business area. You will work closely with the HR leadership on day to day HR activities, and play a pivotal role in its development at local level.
Key focuses for your first 12 months are as follows;
Talent Management & Development - developing manager capability, implementing career pathways, and developing and implementing a new Leadership Behaviours frameworkPolicies and processes - development and implementation of Group policies and processesEngagement & Culture - changing a traditional mindset to deliver a performance vs wellbeing vs engagement culture and harmonising cultures across the business particularly through a high-growth M&A phaseTeam support - developing and mentoring an HR AdministratorProfile
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this HR Business Partner appointment you will have proven experience as an operational HR Business Partner/HR Generalist delivering proactive solutions, ideally within a fast-paced and customer-centric business. Strong ER experience is a must. You will have proven experience and a strong toolkit in the following;
Talent & Performance ManagementCulture & EngagementOrganisational DesignER managementYou will be adept at working on operational/day to day HR activities as well as more proactively to deliver strategic solutions. You will be a self-starter with demonstrable resilience and experience of working with leadership teams to implement and drive change. Understanding the business operations, the talent employed and the strategic focus of the business, you will be a natural business advisor and coach to the management and leadership team. As an HR Business Partner, you will be the moral compass of the business, and look to evolve behaviours at all levels - within the HR team, and within the wider business.
