Desborough College in Maidenhead, part of Pioneer Educational Trust, has an exciting opportunity for a school leader to take on the Deputy Head Teacher role from September 2024.  

With the Headteacher and leaders from across Pioneer Educational Trust, you will be ensure all children at the school receive the best possible standard of education; achieving their full potential across the breadth of the curriculum.  You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with and support the senior leaders across Pioneer’s family of schools.    

As a confident, innovative and organised individual, you will be able to maintain good relationships with all colleagues in the Trust schools, the entire school community and participate fully in the life of the school.   

Pioneer’s schools are Desborough College in Maidenhead, Foxborough Primary School in Langley, Trevelyan Middle School in Windsor and Upton Court Grammar School in Slough.  Pioneer’s schools serve diverse communities which we see as a strength of our trust.   

The most recent Full OFSTED inspection (2014) graded the school as ‘Good’ and in the subsequent Short OFSTED inspection (2019) the school continued to be ‘Good’.
