Our client, a renowned consultancy specialising in civil and structural engineering, is inviting applications for a Senior Civil Engineer in their Drainage Infrastructure team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of Civil Engineering designs across various infrastructure projects.
  • Engage in detailed 3D design and modelling for drainage systems using tools like MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage.
  • Manage and mentor a team, providing technical support and overseeing resource planning for seamless project delivery.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with statutory bodies such as Natural Resources Wales and the Environment Agency.
  • Develop solutions in line with National Planning Policy and Infrastructure design requirements, particularly relating to flood risk management.
  • Uphold a customer-focused culture that emphasises quality and integrity in service delivery.


Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in surface, and foul water design and construction, adept with statutory approval processes.
  • Preferably holding a Masters degree in Civil Engineering and nearing Professional Qualification with ICE or CIWEM.
  • Skilled in 3D design and modelling software specific to drainage solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with the ability to manage diverse teams and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in fostering significant client and statutory relationships.
  • Self-driven with a methodical approach to work within an integrated management system.
